“He who listens to the silence of the mountains hears the voice of the soul.”
Tibetan proverb
Hikes
Nature—and the mountains in particular—has been for me a source of awakening and wonder. Its infinite richness, its subtle balances between species, its silent intelligence… everything invites me to observe and to draw inspiration. In this constantly evolving ecosystem, everything self-regulates. A natural harmony prevails. Spending time in nature is a way to recharge. It is a reminder that we are part of a greater whole, a way to rediscover our place and return to the present moment. Sometimes, just 30 minutes in the forest are enough to quiet the mind after a demanding day. Time and again, the mountains have restored me—even when the hike was challenging: I always returned with a lighter heart, filled with renewed energy. Hiking is also a journey inward. The slow pace leaves space for observation—of what surrounds us, but also of what lives within us: our thoughts, our mood, our inner state. It is a path of understanding, a moment to take stock of where we are… and where we wish to go. Over time, my perspective has changed. The mountains have become sacred allies: they ground me, nourish me, and invite me to contemplation—of both the outer world and my inner world. Today, I wish to share this approach. I invite you to walk with me along the trails, toward an inner summit. Nature offers a magnificent gateway to exploring our inner world, gently and deeply. To walk, to pause, to contemplate. To observe how the environment behaves, and to discover the parallels with our own way of functioning. To reconnect with the Earth and the universe, to vibrate and to feel these subtle connections.
The hikes presented in the following section are provided as examples only. There is an infinite range of possibilities, with varying levels of difficulty, throughout Switzerland. If you would like to discover other routes or regions, please don’t hesitate to contact me—I would be delighted to accompany you and help bring your project to life.
